CozyCot Holy Grail Party 2009

It has been an awaited moment for me to join CC Holy Grail Party. I missed last year's event and deeply regret it, hence I made a firm decision to make the trip down even though it was at Expo (rather far from my place). Initially my sister was reluctant to make the trip down with me but she had a fruitful trip with so many freebies that she thanked me for the good deals after the event. Haha. :D

While the post feedback didn't reflect the event that well, but I enjoyed myself with the goodie bags and lucky draw prize that I have won (pictures to be uploaded soon).

I bought Kose skin products and Esprique Precious foundation. And gosh! I love the foundation case! It's in white with pretty jewels pasted on it. Also, I've purchased 2 MM eyeliners in shimmer black and gold and a mini lip gloss in honey nude color at 30% discount. Quite a good deal for my purchases I would say. My purchase is above $100 and got myself another CC goodie bag. *smiles widely.

Esprique Precious had a complimentary photoshoot with a friendly sweet photographer and I took home a 4R photo with a mini magnet photo. Love it to bits as me and my sister each got a set with F1race and pinky room background. They even got lotsa quirky and girlish props for you to pose with and we took a few pictures standing by the side too.

Signed up for quite a few workshops but only managed to attend the Keras hair workshop. Regretted that I couldn't make it for Esprique Precious makeup demo and missed out a good chance to get a free mini pinky fridge which was so kawaii!! :(

Though many complained about the emptiness of the event hall but I was glad it was at Expo as I could walk around freely without squeezing with others. The weather was already humid and warm outside, and I wouldn't want to sweat like hell in a crowded place too.

hi all,

know that the entry before this is supposed to be my last.
but joo told me i better post another entry..
so that my friends will not worry about me.

i really thank all of your concern.
i suppose its when a friend in need is a friend indeed.
saman, hwa, joo, erwin even an ex-student of mine(whoever u r) have expressed concern for me..
its really heartwarming..

hmm...
about my so-called "depression"..
how should i put it??
well, like hwa has said(u r my gd sis where got ppl will say u kpo one arh ;)
i'm tied up with all the tests and exams in school.
its really horrifying..
feeling my energy is almost sucked dried by the amt of sch work piled up.
it's indeed a difficult semester for me.

another matter at heart is cos me and chris quarrelled the other day..
but we are fine already..
he has given in to me a lot...
and both parties compromise..
arh yes..
compromise..
that's wat needed in a relationship..
doesn't matter who's right or wrong anymore.
it's now that matters.

i'm feeling a lot better already.
i've studied a lot for my chinese lit test this coming wed.
mon and tue test is not so stressful..
later on i'll read on these two..
with such prepardedness..
i'm ready to take up the tests now.
so.. hee.
no worries k??

btw this is really the last entry...
i really wun be blogging anymore. :)
saves time from my studies too.
perhaps when my holidays come, i'll create another??

went TPY Sakura with chris, hwa, alan, chiau yi and her poly frz.
the food there super nice!!
eat until everyone of us are so full....
and its really worth ur money man.
24 per person..
with GST and service charge..
only 26 per person..
compared to parris seafood...
it's like nearly half price cheaper?
didn know Sakura offers such buffet until today..
ha ha.

will surely go back again..

wanted to buy this cute piggy handphone holder at MiniToons.
but didn buy..
cant decide between the piggy and cow..
cow one is accesorries holder actually.
got legs that can stand some more.
and can be used as hp holder too if u want.
except that it has a cover lid.
but it'll get dirty easily with its white "fur"..
and it dun seems to be new..
so..
chris says women are like tat..
always indecisive..
hmm..

final destination 3!!
nice!!
even more gross than FD2..
but hwa.. u cant watch it..
haha. cos she's scared of horror movies.
but saman, u can watch with eric..
it's a nice show worth ur money.
makes me think twice if i wanna take roller coaster again.

btw chris signed for HSBC credit card.
and i got the supp card!!

since i have debit card to sign for payment if i want..

after lec reached home so tired...
slept from ard 6 plus to 9 plus today..

which explains why i haven't sleep now...

Valentine's day Part 2

after our very very bao de dinner at suntec's kenny rogers..
we went to the fountain...
hoping to get some cai qi from the 3 rounds made..

next we walked ard millienium walk..
i wanted to feed the fishes..
but too bad the shop selling bread crumbs close liao...

so it's time to go home also.

so cheap!!

eat till very full..
and the sandwich is really thick!!!

wanted to stay back in sch to study dcc101.2 and DSC101 module with shu fen they all..
but after listening to their grp's discussion for dcc101.2..
i'm already shagged like dunno what liao..
now lying in bed typing this..
very lazy to move..
saman initially wanted to join me for dcc101.2 discussion de lor.
but in the end she also went back her hostel to take a nap first i guess before gg for her tuition.
haha.
shufen also no more energy to discuss liao.
guess everyone's tired too ba.

lee hwa also busy with her project at work.
hope she can finish off her project soon.
cos fri we are gg out for dinner at sakura with a whole bunch of us.
hee.
nan de can have such good dinner with a bunch of friends.
its been long since i last met theresa they all too.
not to mention hwa whom i see nearly everyday of course.
haha.

on 14th feb 2006..

i'm still preparing chris gift when he arrived at 6.15pm.
he was early.
initially, he told me he'll reached at 6.30pm.
but my fault too that i didn prepare everything earlier.
so i locked him outside and ask him to drink the mango juice prepared by Lee Hwa.
very delicious neh..
thailand mango ice blend. :D

my gift for chris:

the "fortune ball" includes the box with the hp accessory I've sew for him in, the "apple" bought at marina bay when i went there with suhshia, lewis and shuqi and 12 rochers representing "ai ni". All these small gifts are hidden among the stars for him to dig. He says its like lucky draw like that. Haha.

I asked him if he knows how many packets of stars are in the ball. He tot ard 3 packets but no lor.. it's 10 packets. and this is also the reason why when he arrived, i'm still working on his present.

at first, i bought 3 packets at Yishun Popular..
it's the last 3 there also...
not enough..
so i've asked lee hwa to help me buy another 5 packets more at Bishan Popular.
but she managed to find the last 4 only.
xin ku ni lah.. lee hwa..
so i have 7 packets le right?
but on 14th feb i find that its not enough to fill up the big fortune ball...
so i rushed to AMK Popular to buy another 3 more packets..
this is the reason why i still haven't complete in time..

i fold the stars till the tip of my fingers sore..
and my kneecap end up with lots of red dots..
as i've placed the folded stars on my knee cap for support to make the corners.
hmm..
after that i wrapped my blanket around my knee cap as cushion support.
silly me not to have thought of that earlier.
but all this is worth it..
as long as chris appreciates my efforts and like the presents i've prepared for him.. :D

lee hwa says the stars are really beautiful in the fortune ball..
that's what i think too.

me very buay yao bai hor. ;p

the hp accessory~didn't do a good job cos of the beads. though i've followed the pattern but the beads are too big and therefore, the spacing between each alphabet is too close liao. :(
but lee hwa says handmade one cant be bought outside so its more valuable.
chris says he likes the handmade gifts i've done for him as he thinks bi jiao you xin.

the "apple"~ inside is a bettle whose legs can move one. so kawaii neh!!! i wrote some words in the inside cover. Yin Yin says this has been ard for a long time le and its a toy people play in the past.

inside~ with the date "14th Feb 2006", a heart-shaped crystal sticker and our names by each side.

the card~ can record voice one..
though 6 secs only..
Hen Qiao de shi, the flowers that he've bought for me also has a bear which can record voice one...
but his can record longer of course.

i'm back!!!

still on 14th Feb 2006...
so after i've finished his gift at ard 6.40pm..
i opened the door to ask him to come in.
found a *big present at my room's door.
and he came in smiling..

*he has actually showed me the big present beforehand and from the touch, I knew it was a bag.

he asked me to open the present and..
it was indeed a bag..
pink and white handbag..
kind of sporty and femine at the same time.
but in my heart, i was thinking..
hmm.. funny that he will buy me a bag cos after our bangkok trip..
he has already told me that i couldn't buy bag for quite some time..
cos i bought ard 12 bags when we were at Bangkok.
haha. :P

then he told me to quickly prepare..
and ask me where's his gift.
i said "got meh? i got prepare gift for u meh?"
but in the end, still showed him his present which was placed beside my bed.

he wanted to unwrap it later at night..
but think he's also curious what i've prepared for him for so long..
so he unwrapped the present though we are rushing for time.
*have to queue up for our dinner at Kenny Rogers ma.

after he saw how xi xin i have been in preparing his present..
evn though i've already bought him a nokia hp..
he kept on giving me a peck on my lips.. >.<

At Suntec..
very luckily, we found a carpark lot after turning into the car park..
sometimes have to drive for a few rounds before we can find a carpark lot.
and it's entrance to Suntec Mall is the basement with Kenny Rogers by the side only!!
I can already feel that it will a happy day spent today ..

Suntec as usual is so crowded..
but on this day it's crowded with couples..
seeing so many girls with flowers in their hands,
hand in hand with their boyfriends..
smiling so sweetly..
i really feel very happy..
the world is so full of love!!!

though we have to wait for quite some time..
we are happy to wait too.

at last, it's our turn.
we ordered 1/2 chicken meal "Kenny's Fav" and 1/4 chicken meal.
too bad my fav macaroni cheese is out of stock liao..
sobz sobz.

we have to wait for 15 mins for the chicken..
so we settle down with side dishes and a cup of lemon tee each.

at the end of our dinner, we were so full...

but her mom says no of cos not..
she says she didn know erica feel so stressed up in school.

what's more she has joined another club in school which offers tuition too.
her mom says if erica needs tuition she'll call me again.

when i told chris..
he says good also..since all my tests are coming up..
i can have more time to study.
he's changed for the better liao wor.
not that in the past he's not good of course.
just that in the past he will wish me to take up tuition for more cash.
and not skipped lessons even when i'm nt feeling well..

but i think he has become more understanding liao.

using the exisiting furniture u have..
then she'll DIY to re-make your furniture...
and the outcome is fanastic!!
so li hai of her....
for e.g she used a brown skin paste on top of a plain table to change it to a exotic looked dressing table!!
she will paint a color over, then using some kind of brush to create those wood grains effect!!
but of course, take time lor.. '

i wonder if me and chris can make something like tat together for our home-to-be in the future.
i think it's kind of romantic to be able to do something together..
what a complishment it will be..

recently very lazy to blog..
lots of things to be done..
been busy catching up with my family and friends..

used mickey and minnie v-day wallpaper as background since v-day is coming.

i've bought a hp for chris as v-day present.

he seems real happy.
cos the basic phone he's using now(his company cant use cam phone) can be thrown to dustbin liao.
think give ppl they wun even want too.
cos it keeps on auto shut down and cant seem to detect the sim card time and time again..

lunar new year eve!!
a day where everyone will be having dinner with their family and loved ones..
a start of a new year for the chinese..

if not i'll sure be having lots of rubbish thoughts..

the other day chris just say why i didn update my bday happenings here.
but i told him i really have no time to write such long stories during that period.
not that i dun want to write.
so.. just keep a lookout for the updates on the details of my special occasions then. ;)

yesterday went esplanade there.
wanted to go chun dao he pan.
then to our shock (me and chris lah), the grassland is EMPTY!!
feel kana cheated lor.
in the end me and chris went carrefour.
bought 20 mandarins for $4.95?
cheap like dunno what right?

though no one will come my hs to bai nian.
but i must have mandarin oranges to go other people's hs to bai nian too ma.
then we bought sushi and chiffron cake..
which is our dinner..
and carrefour sells 2 1.5liters of soft drink for $2.55.
buy four and u'll get a 1.5litres bottle of pepsi max for free!
cheap right?

think me getting more auntie as years go by.

and i bought an art set for my nieces too.

after that we drove to somewhere near padang cos chris friend said the chun dao he pan might be at padang there.
and indeed its there!
though it's still held at esplanade there
but this time it's near fullenton hotel..
and it sucks!!
no exciting fun fair this year...
and so little stalls lor..
the deco not nice also.

and the WORST thing is...
the RAT fortune prediction is like so duh lor..
everything so bad..
sounds even worst than last yr.
cant believe it man!
and to think i read the RAT fortune book selling at Popular..
and it says that RAT this yr de fortune not bad de leh.

hmm..
i'm really cracking over my pea-sized brain on how to write an essay on "family".
seems like it is similar to the one "tong nian wang shi' de essay.

headache arh..
been staring at the window words program page for dunno 1 afternoon liao..
and yet only one paragraph comes out..

saman says she's real stressed up for tis sem.
she wants to do better than last sem.
however, she also feels that this sem's modules are much harder and "chim"..
same for me of course.
and to think i've been forgetting how to write a lot of chinese characters..
how am i gg to substain the good grades i've gotten last sem?
it'll be the 8th wonders of the world if i can get 3 As as with last sem for this semester.

and ya, i've finally signed up for max online 2000..

reason being my new place has no network to tap!!!
not at all..
perhaps my new place de neighbours men too poor???
i could only locate a few network connections in the kitchen..
with all being set security password....

11th Dec to 13th Dec -Changi Village Holiday Flat Chalet (First Chapter)

The chalet organized by Lee Hwa and company for me.

11th Dec afternoon, me and Lee Hwa set off to Alan's house at AMK.
(P/s. alan is lee hwa's bf now!! CONGRADs to their new found love. may their love be sweet and loving always.)

while i waited in the living room, Lee Hwa and Alan was preparing the food etc for that night's bbq. Afterwhich, Alan drove both of us to Changi Village to meet up with the others.

However, most of them are unable to make it so early and instead we met up with only Wei Liang instead.

*brb. out to buy groceries. ;)

back now.
and i've talked about us meeting up with Wei Liang that day.
so the four of us (me,Lee Hwa,Alan and Wei Liang) went to the food center at Changi Village there to have breakfast cum lunch.
a lot of good food there.
a MUST-GO for food lovers.
tried the "ba zhuo mee" from the left stall (2 stalls side by side selling same food!!)
bagus!!!

after a fulling "brunch"..
we went to check in our chalet.
it looks exactly like a HDB flat.
though from the outside it's kindda old and run-down..
but when we finally step into the room.
it's a 3 room flat btw.
wow! it's really cozy and clean.

relative cheap too compared to norm chalets we had outside at pasir ris and east coast etc.

initially wanted to go check out the Changi beach but since so many of them have not arrived yet... we decided to wait then.

in the end, teresa, bernard, chiau yi, terry, alvin, weiling arrived (not in sequence as i've forgotten who arrived first le but i know weiling and alvin was the last two to arrive :)
However, as it was too late le, so we decided to just bbq inside the flat instead.
and by right, you CANNOT bbq inside their flats de hor.
just that, all of us too lazy to go down to the beach so...
hee hee.

we had a DIY bbq pit using an aluminium tray and bricks "kop" by Hwa and Alan.
we did not prepare chicken wings but chicken meat instead.
as we got budget u see.
each of us contributed ard $17 if i rem correctly.
but at the end of the bbq, we all felt that chicken meat was indeed a wise choice!!!
cos chicken wings most of the time would either turn black or not fully cooked when BBQ..
and most of all..
very difficult to eat with the bones..
but chicken meat is different.
very yummy indeed.
especially the sambal sotong..
my favorite among all.
the sambal is really "gou la"
but hor.. the sotong cut until too small le lor..
must eat a lot then can taste the meat. ;p

initially, me, teresa and chiau yi kept on staying inside the air-con room and talk..
left only lee hwa and the guys outside in the kitchen bbq~ing.
though she kept on asking us to go out and help...
the three of us were still busy talking instead.
in e end, when we sense that something is not right..
we went out to help out.

note: hwa, sorry for not helping u all out that night... :(

but of course in the end everything was alright again..
cos hwa was not a petty babe..
she forgets unhappy incidents quickly..
that is also the reason why she has so many good friends with her.
and if u dunno yet..
she was the one who organized this chalet for me.

in the middle of the BBQ, i was begaining to feel puzzled why all the others have disappeared and only me and teresa outside bbq~ing..
suddenly, the lights were out!!
me and teresa thought that the flat "zhou dian"..
and at the same time, hwa and the others surprised me with a cake while singing birthday song!!!

surprise!! surprise!! surprise!!

haha. it was a lemon ciffron cake.
a new taste to me.
hee.
really touched by their efforts.
all of them were so kind..
and they have long treated me as one of them liao.
what power hwa has to bring all of us together as a gang!
haha. :D

after the bbq, we went down to the coffeshop below it and have a small chat among ourselves.
the four of us, Hwa, Alan, Teresa and myself decided to go to the Changi Temple (open to public 24 hrs) to pray while the rest of the guys will stay behind and watch soccer.

been soooo.... long since i last blogged...

though from the outside it looks old but its real cosy inside.

5th of dec went to school for GESL rehearsal.
as usual i was late.
then unfortuanately there was some kind of weird atmosphere btw some of my group mates.
and i was tactful enough to solve the gang ga chang mian.

anyway after that me, desmond, baiyun, yoke yong, belle, xiao pei and etc went to Jurong Point for lunch.

their pdts are so cute and afforable.
and to think in e past i dun dare walk in cos from the outer appearence of the shop, it looks kindda ex.

6th of dec, tue is our actual performance at JU ENG Home.
I was involved in the singing of christmas carols.
sang 3 songs namely "Yi Jian Li Wu", "Joy to the World" and "We wish you a Merry Christmas".
and we were shocked to see NTU Hall 6 (*i think) students there.
they are singing christmas carols too to gain some points for their hostel stay i think.
and a guy called me by my name.
seems like he know me..
BUT.. BUT...
I don't remember him at all!!!!
Oh no!!!
of cos being the friendly me..
i gave him a warm smile...
and we didn talk after that..
but i suppose he's my sec school mate ba.

he actually saw our lame dancing movements for "Joy to the World"
OMG!!
luckily he's not my close frz..
if not i dunno how to face my frz liao when words go around.
will surely get laughed at for months man!

after our performance at JU ENG Home..
me, bai yun, june and desmond went to AMK for a walk.

after a long talk, june set off for her christian camp thinggy at Pasir Ris.

about clones and virus attacking the world.
not a bad show..

cos she's attending Kevin's relative's wedding on Sat..
then she didn have much decent dress to wear for such occassions..

it has been such an exciting week for me..
that my pocket is being burnt a big hole gradually..
day by day..

anyway on the 28th Nov to 30th of Nov is my brother's chalet.
helped him book at $138 for 3D2N.
initially he wanted to extend another night.
unfortunately..
it costed a grand total of $135 for another night lor.
wah!!
and if u dun online book for another night would cost $250 plus minus.
zhen shi sha ren fang huo arh.

though my bro, james is only 15 years old.
younger than me by 7 years.
and of cos his frz are all his age too.
i am still able to click with them.
haha.
mainly cos i played lan game, Counter Strike too ba.
*wink ;)

on the first day, 28th Nov, i checked in with james and 2 of his friends.
we went to the canteen and had our lunch, afterwhich when we come back..
quite a few of his classmates has already arrived.
as his friends intend to play majong thru the night..
i asked chris to come over and fetch me instead.
so around 5 plus i left the chalet.

on the second day, 29th Nov, i reached the chalet at ard 4pm i think.
my sister, winna and kevin reached later.
it's the BBQ day.
As i have brought my laptop along, james' frz crowded around my laptop..
busy playing maple story.
so me, winna and kevin went to downtown east for a walk.
we saw the decorations at Downtown East.
the theme is Barney, the purple color big dunno what creature.
very meng huan.

3 singers on stage were singing christmas carols.
sound more like mourning to me and winna.
haha.

think cos no one listening ba.
so they also sianz.

i even bought drinks and tibits with a bowl of instant noodles in case their BBQ food turned out inedible.

*pai seh arh. cos i saw the girls BBQ until the chicken wings all black le still at the BBQ pit wire mesh so naturally see le hui pai. ;p

we took bus no 3 and alight at the forth bus stop.

at the KTV, we sang till 1am.
James and his frz really amazed me.
they are so good at rapping..
especially when rapping jay chou's songs.
i can tell you you'll surely go "WA!!" at theri incrediable rapping skills man!
haha.
of cos me also not bad lah..

in the end each of us need to fork out $14 bucks each.
a bit ex for them as they r still students.
but nonetheless, we really enjoyed ourselves a lot.

around half an hr later, we reached the chalet..
tired but still dun bear to sleep..

think around 4am then i fall asleep.

around 7.30am i wake up.

and in fact he bought me a birthday present!!!

and as usual..
being a guy..
he forgot to take off the price tag!! :0

anyway, we went Raiders and play CS later.
after a while, we took bus 969 home.

at night, chris brought me to chom chom and eat..
initially wanted to meet up with lee hwa and her frz..
but i tot i lost my ez link..
and by the time i found it..
i'm already at home liao..
so couldn't possibly ask alan come yishun fetch me to meet up with them too.
cos really bu shun lu..
as they meeting at changi village.
also, i was really wore out..
i reached home at ard 5 plus..
took a nap till around 7 plus to 8pm.

on thur, i met james at causeway point to collect my laptop.
cos on wed when we were walking ard at tampines,
i asked him to help me carry..
cos too heavy liao..
then as i alight first..
i totally forgot abt it.
i treat james to lunch at long john silver..
bought a orange hp pouch at Mini Toons..
only 2 bucks.. special offer.
in a shape of a t-shirt..
one for me and one for james.
his frz, Jason also bought one blue one with an exit symbol.

on fri morning,I met up with my NIE kakkis at Marina Square for KBox.
Pei Yu cant join us in e end as she has fallen sick.
so in end it's me, shu fen, meihui and shu hui.
11am to 2.45pm..
with jap lunch set and a drink at only 11 bucks.
cheap sia..
but only cos its on a weekday lunch hour..

Marina Sqaure is a good place to shop.
though quite a few shops are not yet opened..
but it's really big and the place is "wow" ..
kindda grand i should say.

it's also Jason's birthday..
but cos he met up with my bro too late..
around evening time..
so I am unable to join them for Jason's birthday celebration...
as i accompanied Lee hwa to her company's dinner and dance.
i managed to meet up with them at orchard mrt control station..
cos Jason's gf de frz wanted to lend $30 from me..
so need to pass them the money.

i wore my white dress and lee hwa wore her black dress.
very pretty indeed.
i mean lee hwa of cos.
hurhur.
though if u wan to say me pretty i wun deny too lah..

i gave him 10 bucks as my stay over fee.
if not he dunno have to fork out how much lor.
cos though it's rented in name of class gathering chalet..
but he have to pay more cos he's the one organizing and some more he asked me, chris, my sis and kevin along.
though chris wun be gg as he has exams on mon, tue and wed respectively.
so pitiful.
i'm enjoying my holidays yet he still has to study for exams..

hopefully his hard work will pay off well..

This entry is especially for Samantha.

I have known her since Sec 1 though we got closer in Sec 2 instead.

Recently, we have had a LOT of misunderstandings.
In the past, she will always call me from her house and we will talk non stop for hours and hours de.
But i dunno why we will end up like that now.

Just now in MSN, i spoke to her and we talked it all out online.

She feels that,

1. When i know she wanted to learn war carft before eric (her bf) comes back and I've promised to lend her the CDr to install the game, I have to wait until 1 week before Eric comes back to finally bring the CDr for her.

2. Though I lent her a white shirt of mine, I didn bother to check if the size fits her or not and it turns out that the size is too small cos it's been far back since i wore it.

3. When she ask if she can return me the shirt on mon, I told her tue. But i didn go to school on tue and didn even sms her to inform her.

4. She feels that i dun even bother to call or sms her even when she didnt call me and it's like she's ALWAYS the one looking for me and I don't care to make the initiative to call her at all.

Saman, think that's the main reasons you have stated in the MSN ba..

not long after, she says she's logging off le and the chat was cut off.

Saman sis, I know whatever I say is useless and will only seems like excuses to you.
Though I sms you after the MSN session to try to make it up for my mistake but you say u gg to sleep le.
I dunno if you're really gg to sleep or just dun wish to talk to me..

I hate a guy in my Ed Pysch II class.

His name is Faiza (pronounced as Fa-e-za).

Few days ago, on behalf of my group, I asked if he can help us on a survey for one of our projects.

"NO!I'm not going to help you do the survey" he replies with a stern expression.

I was shocked. Utterly shocked.

"What the hell...!!!" In my heart, I curse and swear after recovering from the shock I felt initially.

But sometimes, as humans, you have to have two faces.

So on the surface, I said "Huh? Couldn't you just help my group on the survey?"

"No! I've said I'm not going to help your group."He repeated again with the same old stern expression, especially when he has a much tanned skin color, his face is practically black.

I'm preparing to give him some yan se already when my tutor, Mrs Diva speaks up.

"oh! Come on. Faiza, don't be difficult. Just help them on the survey." She says.

"Oh.. No lah.. I'm just joking actually. Ha Ha. For you, I will help them on the survey." He says in a jokingly manner.

Koaz... I was about to say "If you don't want to help, don't force yourself. I can just ask others who are willing to help. You don't need to give me this kind of face. It's not as if I owe you money like that."

Then my group mate, Sharon said, "wa..Faiza, don't like that lah.. We ask pretty girl to approach you some more you know.."

And he says, "Oh! If it's you, I surely help one.. Ha Ha. "

Note that Sharon has known Faiza earlier for a module, GESL.

I really wanna ask him might as well go die. Though everyone else agrees that he's just joking but I feel likewise.

From that day onwards, I have decided that I wouldn't give him face liao...

Instead I would just ignore him or show him the black face he's has shown me if he talks to me.

I've finally rebonded my hair.
not to my friends' surprise..
as all of them dun see the difference..
lee hwa tot i went for hair treatment.
yinyin tot i change my hair color.
my khakis at NIE say "Got difference meh? Your hair has been straight naturally le ma"
haiz.. *shaking head.
but some say look more trendy..
some say hair is shiny now..
think only samantha and chris will see the difference at one look ba.
chris says there's quite a lot of difference as in hair much straighter than before and softer.
saman says my hair is nicer and healthier..
though to her fraustration her hair is like "*tree branches" or "*dry grass" now.. *tats wat she said.
i suggest gg kimage next mth wen our pay is out and see if her hair dresser got any recommendations for her hair.
though it'll cost $$ again but better than her feeling more fraustrated than before right?
if it makes her feel better than go ba..
if not with her once beautiful hair..
she'll definately feel sad and haiz one.. -.-

Hi people.
as you've noticed..
it's a new look again. :)
how's it?

a piece of my good news to share with u guys.
me and chris have confirmed our dec holiday trip to bangkok.
six nights five days trip.
will be flying off on dec 23rd.
and that means i would'nt be in Singapore for Xmas.
hmm..
it'll be a new experience for me..
first time on flight for me and chris!!
how exciting it'll be.
My heart has already flew to Bangkok already..
woh!!
haha. :D

but again, we've booked a 3-star hotel online using my visa debit card.
dunno if the fees will be deducted successfully or not.
cos by rit booking hotel etc online shd be via credit card.
hopefully everything will be smooth...
cos if not me and chris will be liu lang jie tou le..
haha.
k lah... at most we'll be staying at lower class de hotel then. -.-"'

for this trip, i really have to thank my dapupu chris.
he knows that I badly wants to go overseas this coming holiday..
and of cos he yearns for relaxation overseas as much as I do.
But prob is Oct I cant cos of exams and projects..
Nov he cant make it too cos of his training course which can jolly well determines his success of obtaining his license.

Oh ya.. I really hope his test will pass.
cos if his test fail then he cannot go for the training course too.
somemore with the numerous tuitions he's having..
he has been working doubly hard than his classmates.
so i really hope his hard work will pay off well.
oh god!! please bless him.

so since oct and nov he cant i cant, it boils down to dec le.
as his training ends only on 22nd, he took leave on 23rd.
when he told me if 23rd dec leaves for thailand can or not..
i say ok.
and right after, he has went online to book the airfare ticket le.
so fast and efficent.

though my term break starts effectively on 9th of Sept..
but with so many projects on hand..

well...regarding our house..
as u all know..
yr end we have to move out le
cos the owner is selling it off..
lee hwa found an agent who has found another similar to ours de flat at e same price...
$850 per month..
only around 2 blks away only.
but right now we only have four of us..
meiling, lee hwa, yin yin and me.
sushia not renting le cos she haven found a job and she intends to stay at msia find first.
so we're now looking ard for 2 more girls to join us.

yest attended chris company dinner.
so many guys wor..
until me also a bit pai seh cos i'm e only girl at his table..
anyway i went becos chris frz dun wan to go..
and gave him e ticket for free.
if not will cost him ard 70 or 90 more bucks to bring a partner along.
though we brought a camera along but didn take much pics too.
seems that guys ain't really into taking photos during these occasions arh?
hmm..
funny thing is chris told me quite a few of his colleagues dun have gf one..
tot guys at ard his age will have a gf le but then again..

celebrated lee hwa's 23rd birthday on sat.
though her actual b'day was on sun.
went out with her poly frz as she had another celebration on fri nit with her sec frz.
me shared bday present with her poly frz.
"tian guo de jie ti" VCD.
haha.
cos she's been dying to watch the VCD recently.

anyway, we went to the snow world at bugis.
only 10 bucks man!
spent a few quality hrs in there.
the ice statues there are really nice and beautiful wor..
haha.

imagine we had taken 140 pics all in all??
wow!

can see that she enjoyed herself a lot.
of cos lah..

well, sat, after getting my pay on fri 12th aug...

Squabble with Samantha

Seems that recently have a lot of misunderstanding with samantha.
i feel that she does'nt appreciate our friendship as much as i do.
for e.g (this i told her before)
when i found out that i'm in e same class as her, i'll be really elated.
but i dun feel her excitment when she knows she's in e same class as me.
it seems nothing to her.

one recent incident.
on tue i didn accompany her for lunch cos my lesson starts at 3.30pm,
whilest hers start in e morning.
when she called me asking when i'll come..
i told her i'll come at 3.30pm.
from her tone, i know she's not really happy abt it.
and 3.30pm lesson i didn know she also have.
so naturally i didn look for her in e lec..
especially when i didn see her when i enter the lec theater.

ok. this could be a misunderstanding as we dunno each other's time table well.
then yest which is wed.
our lesson starts at 12.30pm.
we know our lec is e same.
but she called her new frz to meet up to come instead of calling me.
this is also alright then cos she says she didn know i have 2 hrs break before this lec.
then after this lec which is at 1.30pm.
i look ard for her after getting my notes from one classmate.
and called her 2 times but she didn ans.
think is 2nd or third call she answered.
i ask her where is she and she says her frz drives so she accompany them eat.
not that i'm so petty as to insist she shd eat wif me.
but i mean...
at least say bye to me right?
she says she tot i still have lesson after this lec.
but by right, even if its u..
you'll go to ur frz (percieved as ur best frz) to ask her also right?

and to think i was worried she dun have anyone to accompany her eat...
i told her since your frz got car then u go ahead then.

i was really disappointed.
when i really tresure our friendship.

i FELL down and BLEED!!!

oh my god!!!
dunno y i'm so suay today???
i actually fell down in e kitchen near e toilet..
dunno y e area is so wet..
i confirm its not done by me lor..
i dunno whether its huisan or nt..

cant blame anyone..
can only blame myself...

when i fell down..
i even knocked onto my elbow on e metal rail there where e door of e bathroom is.
and guess wat??
there's such a deep hole near my elbow there that blood just simply flow non-stop..
until chris arrived..
cos he's coming to fetch me to his hs 2 celebrate 4 his san-jie b'day.
btw his san-jie's b'day falls on national day itself.
so zuan.

back to my story.
my wound there just bleed non-stop for abt 1/2 n hr or so..
and my hand becomes so numb tat tears just flow non-stop too.
i cry until like dunno wat..
lucky soon after chris arrived.
w/o him i dunno wat i'll do.

he says better go see doc as e wound is quite deep.
dunno will get infection or not.
he says if its dat serious might need stitches even.
i was so shocked dat i was on e verge of crying again.
on e other hand i scare e medical fee will cost a bomb.
but he still insists dat i better go to e nearest clinic.
better be on e safe side.

so ther i goes to e clinic lee hwa always visit as its just opp our hs, across a road.
e doc says he thinks e wound is abt 1cm deep.
surely need stitches.
even when i say can dun stitch..
he says unless u wan to clean e wound every now n then..
which will be even more painful..
with no choice left..
i was given a ma bi zhen..
waited 4 ard 5 to 10 mins for e effect b4 i was called in again.

he cleaned e wound 4 me while checking e impact of e injury..
and he says its even deeper than he tot..
e cut was actually deep to my elbow bone already....
luckily my bone didn disallocate..
noe did i sprain my elbow.
if not jiu bu de liao le.
he even ask me if i hear e sound of my bone while he's cleaning my wound.
my jesus christ lor..
even ask if i wan 2 see e deepness of e wound while he's using a sissors-liked to check on it.
koaz...
of cos i say no lah..
i guess i'll most probably faint at e sight of it.

in e end i got 3 stitches..
he says he had used e smallest needle which reduce e pain of it 2 e slightest..
if i go hospital, they'll most prob use e large needle as it is faster dat way.
e small needle he had used wun make e scar so obvious as e thread is as fine as hair.
but still wen i look at it..
its so ugly!!!

i had 3 medicines.
one 4 anti-biotic.
one is pain-killer.
last one is neuflo..dunno wat it is for..

altogether is $95!!!!
oh my GOD!!!
SO EX!!!
and i can only claim $10??

stupid government!!
stuipd MOE!!!
work so hard for them and e medical benefit sucks to e core!!!
chris says his company is better..
at least wen he went for his medical check-up for his eyes screening he still can claim not only a portion but FULL amount.

things are a bit blur to me still.

on thur 9.30am de class i can see it as 10.30am.

i even told chris that my lesson is 10.30 on thur with such confidence.

i even say (feeling very proud tat for once i'm not gonna be late) that i'm in mrt..

got a compulsary chinese enrichment programme.

in e end leh..

talk abt nie portal which we all have already know.
and saman is auto a member of e club as she's staying in hostel.

she goes.. "diao. -.-"' better dun burn my weekend and holidays."
in e end we ran off at ard 11plus ba.
went NTU canteen there to have our breakfast cum lunch.

we all dun behave like a teacher lol.

btw i was shocked by e no of young teachers there too.
all look like us..
who dun look like teachers at all..
we were so noisy tat e host (yr 2 student) hao sheng hao qi de gen wo men jiang wo men shi wei lai de lao shi, ying gai bu hui xi wang zi ji zai jiang ke shi, xue sheng bu ting ke ba.
haha.
and we were silent for ard 5 to 10mins before we go crapping with each other's friends again.

anyway, i was really sorry for not accompaning samantha to settle her hostel thinggy.

i walked to e student affairs office wif her.
then we walk all e way back to NTU canteen.
after lunch we walked to e bus stop.
When we were boarding e bus, it stil rain somemore lor.

everyone reading this should know that on mon i've been sick until yao si diao na zhong.
i even vomited on e cab way back home.

yest was my last day in sch.

this sat, 06 July.
National Day Preview for schools.
2.30pm must reach school and teachers will each take care of 10 students and become nanny for 1 day.
Jing Shan Pri (JSPS) have our own red color tee designed by our own pupil.
damn ugly lor i shd think.
i mean seriously, i will only wear it on that day.
i wun even wear it to sleep.
and the size is so big even chris can wear it lol.

Joo Ann was hospitalized for ard 5 days.
She has got an infection which results in a high fever.
Today i went to visit her.
she's recovered since 2 days ago.
just that e doctor still need to do some check-up on her.
lucky thing is that tomor she'll be discharged from e hospital le.
hopefully she'll be fine. *worried face. :(

in my view, i do think this is a good mean of communciation.
i mean, come to think of this.
we are all so busy..
especially since we step into e working society.

now ther's this mdn tan (our level head) who is taking over my time table.
she is teaching my 2/5 and 3/2 now.
the thing is since she's taking over now, i should be having free periods le rit?
on top of that she's taking 6/5 now and the contract( post-grad) teacher who's been teaching e class is having 7 periods free.
so.. convince that i should be having free periods rit??
but the fact is NO!!!
I still have to pick out a few poor students to teach while she's teaching e main class.
and y is this so when ms.lim (e post grad teacher) can have 7 periods free?
her pay is $900 bucks more than me.
i still have to do duty and projects on hand while she has nothing to do!!

kaoz.. tat day when i tot i've entered a new entry but i'm actually stupid enuff to forget to enter the "publish post" button.. arghhh!!!

ok.. now i'm in sch... free period now up to 11.30am.
after which i have to face e 2/5 devil class..
haiz!!!
headache arh..
whenever i have to bring e class until sch ends..

ok enuff of devil children..
well, i'm now left wif wan cheng and her bro for tuition only le.

layleng's hs gt financial prob and cos she always need her aunt to shout and chase after her to finish her homework, her aunt got feb up wif it and tats e end of her tuition.

as for alison, her jiu ma willing to teach her for only 100 bucks for all subjects....

haiz..feeling sad.. partly cos of money but e main thing is tat i cant bear to give up e tuition lor..
initially if u've heard from me, i wanted to give up tuition as i cant cope wif e stress i'm getting from my work. but then now ironically, i even teared a drop of tear u know..

feel tat i'm a lousy tuition teacher if not teacher. saman says there are vaild reasons for them to stop tuition so its not that i didn do my part. chris says i shd be happy instead as i can now put my heart to teach wan cheng and her bro. on top of tat, i now have more time to spend in sch to finish up my stuff.

last weekend is burn marking books at home. somemore last sun is me n chris 2nd anniversary lol.. we just ate at a resturant in yishun.. forget wats e name.. but its similar to pasta mania..
e food is quite nice and e environment also quite cosy..
we eat until really full for abt 50 plus bucks.

this weekend i'm not gg to burn it liao.. since i've finish all marking last week. this week i've stayed back in sch everyday to finish tat day's marking.. so if no sudden incidents occur, i shd b able to relax.. :) wahaha.

but again.. a.. i have to set p5 em1 chinese paper leh. wa... sianz 1/2.

saman poor thing.. got notice tat her HOD gonna check her books le. me still dunno when my turn. i hope it'll be term 3.haha. cos term 3 i wun be ard le. yeah!! \('v')/

e father says that e relief teacher abuse his child.
when in fact his child is the notorious type..

but still i feel so yuan wang for e relief teacher..
luckily he's a retiree..
so dun care much whether can come back relief or not.

later got two tuition.
actually its three but cos one postpone...

as a m1 customer, he received mailers of special offers and bought a nokia phone 6020 at $68 only. of cos need to sign 2 yr contract.
but since he intends to keep e line, he thinks its a great offer not to be missed.
somemore we tot its a norm phone but turns out its a camera phone.
hee hee.
though i dun luv e phone but its me who use it first.
who ask e company he's staying cannot bring camera phone.
haha.
btw at retail price with 2 yr contract is ard 300 plus.

hope she can enrol into NTU leh..

me bought a pair of couple rings at 70 plus at moshi moshi.
kindda cheated cos i saw storewide got 20% and e couple ring cost 40 plus only.

then it turns out that engraving cost even more than e ring.

first of all, sorry to those who r always looking into this webby of mine and waiting for me to update my entry.

recently has been busy as usual. well, what's new arh? :o
but luckily, not busy wif work only..
but playing hard as well.. hee *wink ;)
as a teacher, i'm enjoying e privilege of having a one week holiday as a term break.
and on sun, i went genting wif shia, her bro and lewis.
ya, only e 4 of us cos e others couldn take time off from their work.
that's life when we step into society i guess.
came back on tue.

i couldn believe its lewis first time to genting wor..
haha.. that rich guy who has been to australia, thailand and etc..
besides malaysia, i haven even been to other countries..

and as u can see..
its konica minolta one..
one of the latest model..
bought at $620 inclusive of 256 memory card, card reader and extra battery.
and then at best denki..
its selling at ard $745 lol..

but dat one includes 500plus memory card, mini tripod and card reader.

let me tel u wat happen yest first..

for every exams, we have to key in students' marks into a system call OPM.. dunno wat it means too lah..

but cos tis yr, wen i was instructed to set the P3 Sa 2 paper on top of the P1 Sa.. thers a new component, listening comp on top of e paper 2, compo and oral..

then wen the three senior teachers including my HOD check thru my paper.
they didn realise tat all e components add up to 110% instead of the 100% instead..

so i was the first to realise it when i was abt to key in my P3 class sa2 marks..

and i inform one of the chinese teacher, ms.chua. she told me dat this kind of things involving I.T must inform mr.chan.

and so ther i go, and i went to inform him... and mr chan asks who was e setter..

of cos i say its me..

and then he says this have to blame e setter...

when i didn even know anything..

then another happens during today's morning assembly..

today we r supposed to give out the chinese poem recitation compeition prizes...

i was told to give out the prizes today..

ya... yesterday was indeed a tiring day for me. i postpone my tuition but not because i can relax but becos i have a lot of things to mark.... :(

shit e sch lor.... i dun teach P4 still ask me to mark P4 exam scripts Paper 2. argghhh!!!! then somemore i tot my students compo is next week... but its actually tis week thursday..

more sianz... n i still haven finish marking my p3 n p5 compo... how? :0

so yest rit after sch, i went to e conference room to mark my p4 paper 2 (oh ya, p4 papers can only be marked in school n not bring home to mark) from ard 1.15pm i mark until 4.30pm..

n then i stay in school til ard 5.30pm to mark my p5 compo first.

luckily, chrs also postpone his tuition to help me mark. in fact, he shd have went hm earlier cos his grandma had came over his hs to stay for the week. but, hee hee.. he told his mother he went for tuition instead to prevent any unhappiness..

now i'm here again but only for a short while..

luckily today no assembly.. thanks to the P4 exam. haha.. if not have to hear the old man(my principle) tok nonstop again..

today i plan to head straight to home after my sch to have a nap first after which i'll go for my two tuition at 3pm ba.. dat is if they can make it... (think can la hor)

later got to face those kids again.. haiz.. luckily today perhaps cos its a new start of a day, i feel quite refreshed!! hopefully every morning would be so.. (so far still quite ok ba.. )

dat old man keeps on walking ard... carrying one novel on his hand somemore..

i wonder if he got do work one or not.. rem not long ago, one parent stupidly request the school to start at 8am instead of e usual 7.30am, n e old man actually go all e way to do a survey n collaterate e results n etc..

in e end, cos most of our teachers dun like e idea cos sch start late, means end late for us too.. , he dismiss e idea. so stupid rit? he really have nothing to do man...

but mayb becos he abt to retire so dats y ba..

actually he's also quite good in some ways.. like he didn pick on my hair color.. hmm.. hopefully e new principle would b even better..

where's his parents? where is my laogong? why got his grandma sleeping on e sofa in his living rm? really scare me u know.. as in i dunno wat to do... :(

anyway, i gave him a call n he says he has gone for his tuition n will be back at ard 12pm ba. hmm.. so in e meanwhile, i just surf the net to update my profile at friendster lol.. n also to change e pic, since my sis says my previous pic very weird..

yest, saman gave me a call.. initially, didn notice her voice gt any diff. but as we tok on futher.. oh no! she got sore throat cum cough.. hmm.. then after talking for a while, we put down e phone and i discover i'm also coughing non stop liao.. those cough as if ur intestine is gg to throw up dat type. =.="'

so u see, sis. both of us always happen e same things.. like u n eric bicker, me n chris will also bicker.. u not feeling well, me also kana... haha.. sad thing or something to be happy abt??? :o

laogong, again.. i'm really happy to know u actually read my blog and remembers it. but becos i also go n bookmark my blog add dats y u can just click n read ma.. not really dat u will rem my blog add too hor... ok lah, i know wat u r gg to say.. haha.. so i just stop this matter here.

thanks to my laogong who has taken extremely good care of me when i was sick yest n help me mark my papers. later in afternoon, time to cheong my marking again... haiz... sis how abt u??? same fate??? haha... with e help of ur dear??

hopefully, saman's mom will get to like eric after they had put in so much effort. glad to know dat saman's mom is gradually liking eric le. so, GO!GO!GO! *wink.

yest while talking to meiling (my hs mate), found out someting new. if wanna go genting, can go merlin tower (near citysq and you zhan) where there are a lot of shops selling tour package. my frz says dat time she go genting low season on weekdays, bought a package inclusive of first world hotel rm, bus and cable for only RM78 like dat.

yeah!!! my long awaited fri has finally arrived!!! "o)/

just now hao bu rong yi ai guo my p5 3 periods.. so damn sian lor.. got to tolerate wif their noise. their mouths cannot shut off and they gt ears like no ears like dat.. their legs also cannot stop shaking and walking...

to sum it all, they are not humans!!! they are devils.... !!! :O!!!!!!!

like me and saman always say.. her sch, CHIJ is heaven while mine is HELL!!errr...err.. :_( y me so ming ku??? born to take hardship one... err...

yue xiang yue shang xin.. dun tok abt dat stupid p5 class then.. well, today i saw a grp of malay gers (think they're p6 ba) sitting at the staircase. cos i have to walk up the staircase, they opened a pavement for me to walk through.

One of them asked me, "Teacher, what's your name arh??"

I answered, "I'm Miss Yap."

And then she said, "Miss Yap, you very pretty leh... " (pai seh.. =.=")

haha... so funny e gers.. I smiled and said, "Thank you. All of you girls are very pretty girls too."

another thing is my p1 ger, pei ning (she's a very guai ger but likes to stick wif me) gave me a yakult magnet today.

she asks which one i like and i say, "bu yong le. ni ke yi zi ji shou arh."

then she says neve mind cos she got a lot at hm. so in end, she gave me one of her magnets. haha... :D

i guess overall, i still enjoy teaching ba.. like chris says, if i dun wanna go nie, what can i do? office? but i also dunno if i can get used to office job by tat time.

zai ze me shou, gov job gt a lot of benefits...and the p1 kids are so...cute!!! wahaha. though they can be a pain in e ass sometimes... "/)

~dat day outing

saman's bf really can really get to a place fast... quite cute and boyish look..and how sweet they are... at first, cos chris haven arrive, me alone wif saman n her bf feels a bit awkward. cos they are like quite close and i'm like bu hao yi si da rao ta men.

of cos i will also tok to them..not dat i feel this way then walk alone all e way lah... of cos when chris reached, i feel more zi zai yi dian.. hee. =)

but i still cant give any comments on saman's bf yet.. cos zai ze me shou, i only met him once.. but saman, no matter wat i say, u will also wan to be wif him ma.. so for e time being, just carry on ur relationship wif him smoothly ba.

Places went:

- met at tpy
- went centerpoint, samsung cust service center to reset saman hp's lock (in e end all her things gone and she's sulky e whole day until her dear arrives)
- went OG, saw an evening gown which both me n saman think looks really nice but in end when i try, doesn really look gd on me. :( *perhaps my fig nt gd enuff?
- stay ard dat area.
- lastly, went cappuage for dinner. me n chris had mini seafood steamboat while saman n her guy had zhu za tang and her bf ordered another plate of *gou rou(think its dat ba)
